Over the past two weeks WAAPA has called The Rechabite home. With restrictions still in place, WAAPA is taking its annual opera production online, filming Orpheus in the Underworld in Rechabite Hall.

We're proud to induct the next generation to experience the creative good life within our walls. It's been buzzing, mesmerising and colourful with the students taking over our home for artists.

Orpheus in the Underworld, performed by WAAPA’s Classical Voice students with the WAAPA Symphony Orchestra, will be available to view from Saturday 24 October until Saturday 31 October via the links below.

With music by Jacques Offenbach and a new libretto by director Nicole Stinton, this comic opera is a wickedly satirical take on the famous Greek myth.  Don’t miss WAAPA's digital season!
