CONFISCATION POLICY

The safety and comfort of our guests and staff is our highest priority, this Confiscation Policy exists to help us maintain an enjoyable environment for all and to ensure our operations remain in line with relevant legislation.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Items Subject to Confiscation

The following items are not permitted and may be confiscated upon entry:

  • Illegal or unidentifiable drugs / substances
  • Weapons or items that could reasonably be considered dangerous
  • Outside food and drinks including alcohol
  • Any item that presents a risk to safety or may significantly disrupt the experience of others

Prescription Medication

To avoid any confusion or issues at the point of entry, we ask that guests who carry prescription medication:

  • Bring medication in original packaging that clearly displays the prescription label, or;
  • Guests carry a copy of the valid prescription itself

This ensures our team can distinguish between permitted medications and non-prescription substances.

Logging and Handling of Confiscated Items

Confiscated items are logged at the front door at the time of entry. Where an item is not illegal to possess in public, our team will record the guest’s name and contact details for the purposes of return within the next 30 days.

Items that are illegal to possess or pose an immediate safety concern may be surrendered to police or disposed of in accordance with legal obligations.

At the end of each night, the confiscation log is reviewed by the Duty Manager to ensure accuracy and compliance.
