Hosted by Katherine Curnow aka KC and backed by the slammin' Workshop house band, Workshop will bring to our fair city the freshest vibe and showcase Perth’s finest vocalists. //
More than half way through the year and we are shaking things up once again. Every featured vocalist is top tier and freestyle rap god Macshane is no exception. You may know him from from events such as Colab , Workshop x Colab or even more recently on the Fringe Festival circuit Whose Rhyme is it anyway? and if you don't, YOU. ARE. WELCOME.
Macshane will be comin in HAWT (what winter?) with that INSANE flow and lyrical prowess - mans has a VOCABULARY. Bars. Bars. Bars.
This month, part proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to Support Act; Australia’s only charity delivering crisis relief and mental health & wellbeing services to artists, crew and music workers who are doing it tough. They also develop and implement mental health prevention, education and training programs.

How does it work? //
Open invite to all MCs to also join in on the fun. For vocalists and instrumentalists, the premise of Workshop is the same as we know and love it to beeee:
Vocalists and instrumentalists will need to sign up at the door on the night. We are subject to time constraints so sign up early to avoid missing out and when your name is called, be ready.

† THE NEW NEW – In light of our on-going commitment to sustainable social change, part proceeds from Workshop door sales will go to a nominated charity or organisation for that month because if you're trying to cultivate and encourage that sense of "community" you must also be proactive in being a part of that same community.
